We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and proficiency in IT to manage patient records effectively.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials. Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, well-organised, and fully stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using dental software. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide post-treatment care instructions. Monitor patient comfort during procedures and address any concerns or questions they may have. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with dental practices.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and using dental software. A compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on providing a positive experience for all patients. Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
