Wesley Dental Care is a well-established independent dental practice located in Ossett, West Yorkshire. We are a mixed NHS and private practice carrying out a varied mix of treatments, focused on both prevention and restoration, including private cosmetic procedures, orthodontic Invisalign treatment and oral surgery including implants. We are looking for an experienced dental nurse who is enthusiastic, trustworthy, and dedicated to patient care to join our team.

We use Software of Excellence / Exact Software to maintain computerised records, including a digital x-ray system. The applicant should be familiar with digital dental software's and would be desirable to be familiar and competent with Exact.

The candidate must be GDC registered. A candidate with ability to work on Reception (as and when required) would be preferred though not essential.

Duties include:

Setting up and managing the surgery before each session Providing chairside assistance to support the dentist Preparing materials and assisting the dentist during dental procedures Recording treatment information in patient records Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments

Strong communication Focus on patient care Efficient IT Skills for maintaining patient records Calm and personable attitude Team player
This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the right candidate.

Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience.

Successful candidate will be required to provide references and Hepatitis-B report prior to appointment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience: Dental nursing: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification: Valid GDC registration (preferred)
