We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. Your organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to a positive experience for our patients and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as required.
Provide chairside support during dental procedures, including taking notes and managing instruments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirming patient visits, and follow-up appointments.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
Skills
Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficient IT skills for maintaining patient records and using dental software applications.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members.
