Job Description
Symbiosis Dental is looking for a professional, enthusiastic and caring dental nurse to join our team. We are a private practice with a large loyal private patient base. Our practice is purpose built and offers a high standard of infection control. The position is two to three days a week, as required, Monday to Friday. Pay is dependant on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the surgery for treatment appointments with suitable instruments and materials
Providing Chairside assistance and support to all clinicians
Providing reassurance and support for all patients
Sterilising of instruments
Processing and filing of X-rays
Maintaining surgery environment to the highest cross infection standards
Recording accurate information in patients records as required
Advising Patients on oral hygiene
Maintain stock levels within the surgery
Maintain Registration and comply with all GDC requirements
Assist with manning of reception as and when the need arises

Ability to work as a team and follow own initiative when required

Maintain a professional appearance following practice policy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.30 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
Experience:
Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Valid GDC registration (preferred)
Work Location: In person
