About us

We are a mixed dental practice situated in the heart Penwortham with local off-street parking. The practice is comprised of 5 modern surgeries benefiting from the latest technology in a desirable location with neighbouring cafes, restaurants, and other local amenities. We offer a wide range of both general and cosmetic procedures with a stable team in situ. The practice benefits from the support of a Head Nurse and Assistant Manager as well as a shared Practice Manager with our sister site also located in Penwortham.

The Role:

Assisting Dentists with all treatments, providing chair side support to a high standard. Ensuring and maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment in all surgeries. Assisting with clinical notes always ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Keeping up to date with Training and Development ensuring that all relevant CPD is completed and up to date. Adhering to all cross-infection controls and ensuring that HTM01-05 regulations are followed at all times. Working closely with the Reception Team to ensure constant communication and all relevant information has been discussed.

The Person:

We may consider someone already enrolled on a dental nursing course. Outstanding organisational skills, with an ability to multitask. Ability to work under pressure and a desire to grow professionally. Someone who is IT Proficient (Microsoft Office Packages) and experience with Dentally and Dental Compliance software is a bonus, but all training will be given. Outstanding chair side manner, with a patient focussed approach. A person with a friendly and approachable demeanour and a passion to help, the right candidate must be able to adapt and assist with the growth of the practice and work in a fast-paced environment. It is key that you can build strong working relationships and utilise these for the smooth running of the practice.

Strong patient care skills Proficiency in English Nursing background IT knowledge, especially in Microsoft Office Excellent communication and organizational skills Level 3 qualification in Dental Nursing GDC registration
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
