Job Description
Plymouth Community Dental Service is looking for experienced, friendly and supportive dental nurses to work alongside clinicians undertaking urgent care clinics provided to the people of Plymouth who are not registered with a dental practice.
Plymouth Community Dental Service is a referral based, specialist-led NHS dental provider providing high-quality specialist dentist services for the people of Plymouth and the local area, along with support with the routine dental need for paediatrics and urgent care.
Main Responsibilities:
The Dental Nurse works as part of the clinical team to provide clinical care to un-registered patient requiring emergency dental treatment. The post holder will work alongside a dentist and be responsible for the set up and close of the surgery for each session. It is important that the Dental Nurse maintains a strong patient focus and pro-active approach to dealing with problems.
What you'll need:
Minimum 1 year's dental nursing experience NEBDN qualification / City & Guilds NVQ3 in Dental Nursing Registered as a Dental Nurse with the GDC with no restrictions
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
Relevant Qualifications
Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: 16.53-21.49 per hour
