Dental Nurse (Polish Speaking)

Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our growing team in Croydon. This is a part-time role (20-25 hours per week), with the opportunity to progress to full-time hours by 2025.

This position is ideal for candidates looking for flexibility now, with the potential to grow into a more permanent, full-time role later in the year.

Fluency in Polish is highly desirable, as several of our practices serve a diverse patient base. We welcome trainee nurses as long as they are GDC registered and have some clinical experience.

Key Details

Working hours: Starting with 20-25 hours/week, with additional hours available as the role progresses Full-time opportunity in Autumn 2025 Start and end times may vary depending on patient scheduling Weekend availability is essential Midweek days are flexible, but a minimum of 2 Wednesdays per month is usually required

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring instruments are properly prepared and sterilised Deliver excellent patient care by offering reassurance, explaining treatments, and addressing concerns Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with practice policies Keep the dental surgery clean, organised, and fully stocked Liaise effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations Uphold health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures Perform occasional reception duties, including appointment scheduling and managing enquiries

Requirements

GDC registration (essential - includes trainees) Fluent Polish speaker Minimum 1 year of experience in dental nursing or assisting (preferred) Experience covering reception duties is ideal Strong organisational and multitasking skills Excellent communication in English and Polish Familiarity with dental practice management software is a plus A proactive, caring, and team-focused attitude
