Qualified Dental Nurse

Salary: Negotiable

Full-time / Part-time - 2 to 4 days per week, 8:15 - 6pm

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing chairside assistance during various dental procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring patients are comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including all forms of general dentistry.

- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.

- Ensure the dental surgery is prepared ahead of each patient.

- Sterilize instruments and ensure all infection control protocols are followed.

- Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and support.

- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and charting treatments.

- Work closely with the dental team to provide a seamless and efficient service.

- Support reception and administrative tasks when required.

Requirements:

- NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing or equivalent qualification.

- GDC registration is essential.

- Experience in a similar role within a dental practice.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A caring and compassionate approach to patient care.

- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
