Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Nurse to join our friendly, caring, single surgery dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills and have a strong ability to communicate effectively with both patients and team members. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice while providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operation within the practice. Participate in continuing professional development to stay updated on best practices within dental nursing.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with experience. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a dental setting is essential.
