We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice 4 days/week (Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) . The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with practice protocols.
Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up reminders to optimise patient flow within the practice.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay updated on new dental technologies and procedures to enhance patient care.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not essential.
Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Proven ability to provide compassionate patient care while demonstrating strong organisational skills.
