An exciting opportunity has arisen for an

Experienced Dental Nurse

at the Old Orchard Dental Practice, Bonnyrigg. Situated on the High Street the practice is easily commutable from Edinburgh and the Lothians.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established independent, family focused practice. Our philosophy is to provide high quality, pain free dental treatments to support the lifelong health of our patients. The practice is currently in a period of growth, with predominantly private patients.

We provide a wide range of general and restorative dental care services to patients of all ages and with this in mind, we seek an experienced, caring and enthusiastic dental nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide chair-side clinical support to the dentists/hygienist Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene and cross infection control, according to the latest guidelines and following practice procedures and policy. Ensure CQC requirements are met Decontamination of instruments and record keeping Completion of compliance paperwork as required Build trusting and caring relationships with all patients, and take all reasonable steps to ensure their comfort and retention Assist the clinical team and reception team in gaining acceptance for treatment plans from patients Responsible for monitoring stock levels and processing orders as required Support the practice in gaining testimonials and referrals Support with Reception Duties as required
