Job Description

The practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team here at Oaklands Dental Care in Tarporley. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. To assist our new Therapist during treatments and ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide exceptional patient care by welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold health and safety standards. Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient service.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is required. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a compassionate approach. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with IT systems (SOE Exact) used in our dental practice, training will be provided as necessary.
