Chapel Dental Care is looking to recruit a highly motivated qualified registered Dental Nurse to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established 6 surgery practice with its main focus being staff development and excellent patient care.
Our recent full practice refurbishment has enabled us to expand the treatments and services we offer and therefore the growth of our nursing team is equally important to maintain the highest standards of patient care. Videos/pictures of our refurbishment are available on request.
The patient experience and building a rapport with our clients is of the utmost importance to us. The successful candidate must have sufficient experience of working within a dental environment.
As part of the dental team, the nurses role is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the clinical areas and our patient journey, assisting in the organisation of our clinician's clinics to ensure maximum efficiency, to adhere to the practice protocols at all times in line with company policies, goals and values. The successful candidate must be professional, confident and have an enthusiastic approach to working as part of a vibrant team.
The minimum qualities we would expect are:
Positive attitude to help develop future practice goals
Must be reliable, punctual, with a friendly and professional manner
To be able to develop professional relationships with patients and the team
Ability to resolve day to day problems
Knowledge of Dentally software would be desirable but not essential
A good level of IT skills with a knowledge of Word/Excel programs
Consistent learning and contribution to the development of the team and practice
To use initiative and be pro - active
An understanding of CQC requirements/ practice policies
Carrying out requests from Group and Practice Managers as needed
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Greeting and welcoming patients/visitors
Preparing and maintaining dental equipment, instruments, and materials
Carrying out infection control and decontamination procedures
Organise and manage the dental surgery to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
Providing chair side assistance to dentists and hygienist
Providing support and reassurance to patients
Keeping up to date with CPD
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience and post-qualifications such as Radiography/TCO/Infection control/Implant nursing
