Here at High Street Dental Practice, we are a 6 surgery practice that carries out both NHS and private treatment. We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join the team.

We have a full-time vacancy for a registered dental nurse

The ideal candidate for this role will be fully qualified and GDC registered.

However, candidates who are due to complete their Dental nurse training course or awaiting GDC registration and have experience will also be considered.

Job description

Delivering chair side support to clinicians to ensure smooth running of the practice. Prepare treatment rooms for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols Carrying Decontamination Provide instruments by sterilising and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments. Maintains patient confidence by keeping information confidential. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols. Ensuring high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness. Assist with reception duties and other clinical duties when required. Play an important role in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team.

Skills required

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Fully qualified with chair side experience The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Be reliable and punctual. Excellent communications skills Committed to learning and developing professional skills. GDC registered Ideally have working knowledge of SOE computer software

Hours of work

The position is full time

Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm

Friday 08.30am-5.00pm

1 late night on a Thursday per week

From 13.52

Additional Information

It is a requirement to have a course of Hepatitis B Vaccines and a clear enhanced DBS. Please bring proof to interview.

Please bring certificates of Dental Nurse Qualification and up to date CPD

Must have at least 1 clinical reference

If you do not have Hepatitis B Vaccination this can be organised through ourselves
