Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient welfare.

Implant trained preferred!

Tuesdays 1.45pm-8pm

Wednesdays - 8.45am-6pm

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans and post-operative care instructions clearly. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of patient care. Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
