We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical environment. Duties
Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
Providing excellent patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
Maintaining sterilisation of dental instruments and ensuring the clinical environment adheres to health and safety regulations
Managing patient records accurately using IT systems
Preparing treatment rooms before appointments and cleaning after procedures
Supporting patients with post-treatment advice and answering their queries professionally
Organising appointments and managing the clinic's schedule efficiently
Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols at all times
Skills
Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with patients and team members
Basic knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care
Good IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems
Excellent communication skills to reassure patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Social media skills would be an added bonus
