We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our family owned and operated NHS practicee. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in delivering effective treatments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all dental equipment is properly sterilised and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and oral hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications. (1 year experience preferred but not essential)
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A genuine passion for patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- A flexible and cooperative approach
Hours 8.30 am -5.30pm
