An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Dental Nurse with GDC registration, to join our hardworking team within the Oral, Orthodontic & Maxillofacial Surgery Outpatients, at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.



We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated qualified Dental Nurse to work within our busy Outpatient Department on a part time basis to cover maternity leave, for 12 months. The post is part time for 24.75 hours working over 3 days, with the need to be flexible.

The successful candidate will work closely with the whole team to develop and continue their skills.

Duties will include:

Working within a mixed role multidisciplinary team



Preparing clinical areas and specialist equipment



Assisting in minor oral surgery, minor Maxillofacial surgery, and orthodontics treatments



Assisting in clinics for patients with Head and Neck Cancers, TMJ conditions, Facial deformity and complex dental treatment.



Assisting and maintaining efficient and effective care for patients in line with best practice and current guidelines



Self-motivation and excellent communication skills
