We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting dental professionals in delivering high-quality treatments. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, effective communication, and strong organisational skills to ensure a smooth workflow within the dental practice. The ideal candidate would have experience with NHS and private dentistry including orthotics, bonding and implants

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the practice. Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and inventory management. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is advantageous. IT skills for managing patient records and utilising dental software systems. Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly to patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
