We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. This position requires excellent organisational skills, a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff, and proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation of treatments administered. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients. Schedule appointments and manage the dental practice's calendar efficiently. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience as a nurse, preferably within a dental setting. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent patient care abilities, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Proficiency in IT systems used for dental practice management, including record keeping and scheduling software. Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
