We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
Provide excellent patient care by ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance overall patient experience.
Perform administrative duties as required, including managing inventory of dental supplies.
What we are looking for
Proven experience in a dental nursing role or relevant qualifications in nursing is preferred.
Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
Familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices is advantageous for managing records and scheduling.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members.
