Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified dental nurse with experience as a dental receptionist too and flexible to cover both roles as the need arises within the team. They will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional service and support in a busy dental practice. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to patient care. The Dental Receptionist/Dental Nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes. Schedule appointments efficiently while considering the needs of both patients and dental staff. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel. Process patient payments and manage billing queries with professionalism. Assist dental staff with administrative tasks as needed, including managing correspondence and maintaining office supplies. Ensure that the reception area and clinic rooms are organised, clean, and welcoming for patients. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance details, and follow-up appointments. Willingness to alternate between desk and nursing role on agreed days and times. Carry out all of the required Dental Nurse duties to the highest standards including decon, infection control, relevant checklists, COSSH.

Experience

Qualified Dental Nurse. Excellent organisational skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with patients and staff. A background in nursing is mandatory.
