Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment before and after use. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date. Provide support to patients by explaining procedures and addressing any concerns they may have. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient follow-ups as necessary. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work environment. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and patient management effectively.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or experience in a similar role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and team members efficiently. A compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is desirable but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-12.30 per hour
