Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have regarding their treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols and regulatory requirements. Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow within the practice. Stay updated on advancements in dental practices and technologies to enhance patient care.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues. Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is advantageous. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
