Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients at all times. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems effectively. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and address any concerns they may have. Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions to enhance their understanding and comfort. Collaborate with the dental team to optimise workflow and improve patient experiences.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred , we welcome applications from those who are newly qualified or have experience in this role. A strong background in patient care is essential, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with patients and team members. Excellent IT skills are necessary for managing patient records and utilising dental software efficiently. Strong organisational skills are vital for managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills are crucial for fostering positive relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
