Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide high-quality patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all documentation complies with legal and ethical standards. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area to adhere to health and safety regulations. Manage appointments and schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow within the practice. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a genuine desire to support individuals in their dental health journey. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues. Background in nursing or relevant experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
