Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of IT systems to manage patient records and appointments efficiently.

Duties

Assist dental professionals during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Maintain accurate patient records using practice management software. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering support, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance workflow and improve patient experiences. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with industry standards and practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is required. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues professionally. Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient information and scheduling appointments. A caring attitude towards patients with a focus on delivering high-quality care. Relevant qualifications or certifications in dental nursing are necessary for this role.
