Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain a clean and sterile environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Keep accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling efficiently. Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high standards of service delivery.

Skills

Proficient in English, with excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring that all information is conveyed accurately.
