Our Stopsley practice, Village Dental Practice, is looking for a Dental Nurse, with experience to work, with a Dentist in NHS and Private work.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:

To support the Senior Nurse in the day-to-day running of the practice. To complement the dental team by performing extended duties as per experience and training received and in accordance with the needs of the practice. To act as an essential part of the team, setting the standard for excellence in dental nursing. To support, mentor and develop trainee nurses to enable them to reach their full potential and deliver training in line with business requirements, processes, and standards. Patient care: Engage with patients to discuss treatment plans and options as required ensuring a personal and appropriate level of care. Stock: Ensure your surgery is stocked in line with surgery levels and carry out audits of stocks. Finance: Communicate with the patient in relation to finance options which Obex offers. Explain treatment plans, discuss, and investigate account balances with patients

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Minimum of 1 years experience as a trainee dental nurse Understanding of Patient Plans Advanced Knowledge of EXACT Dental (SOE) System Understanding of NHS Dental Contract Management and NHS Rules / Regulations Comprehensive Understanding of CQC / GDC Rules / Regulations

Education and qualification(s)

To be enrolled on/or have passed a NEBDN Dental Nursing Diploma or Dental qualification (NVQ Level 3 or above) H&S Qualification (desirable) BDIA introduction to dentistry (desirable)Willingness to travel. Clean driving licence.
