Job Overview:

Due to expansion, we are looking for a dental nurse to join our well established and friendly team. The candidate should be experienced, welcoming and be able to perform all necessary dental nurse duties while assisting either dentist or hygienist. The position is part time (4 days per week)

The role includes chairside clinical assistance as well as front of house duties when required. A high level of customer service is essential to this position as you will be directly involved in the patients' journey and experience here with us as Whyman House. We offer a wide range of general dentistry, oral surgery and implant placement and all individuals will be fully supported in their role where successful.

A high level of general dentistry, oral surgery and implant experience is desirable, but not essential as is experience using SOE and Microsoft. All applicants who meet requirements will be considered.

Duties:

- Assist the clinician during various dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain the dental surgery for patient treatment
- Provide chair-side assistance
- Ensure the comfort of patients throughout their visit
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments

Qualifications:

- Certification or training in dental nursing

- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient appointments and records effectively
- Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues

Competitive hourly rates dependent upon experience.

Working hours: Mon-Fri 08:15-17:00
