We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse or a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using practice management software. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the treatment areas. Collaborate effectively with dental team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues. IT skills for managing electronic patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not essential; we welcome enthusiastic candidates willing to learn.
