We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort while supporting various dental procedures.

Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using appropriate IT systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up calls, and reminders to optimise patient flow and clinic efficiency. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to uphold the highest standards of hygiene. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and organisational efficiency. experience of Invisalign and implants would be advantageous Monday to Friday and early finish on Friday. GDC approved

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Relevant nursing qualifications or experience in a dental setting is advantageous. Familiarity with IT systems for managing patient records and appointments is essential. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members alike. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
