A new and exciting opportunity has just become available for a

Qualified & GDC registered Dental Nurse.

Springhill Dental Practice is a well-established private practice with a wonderful team. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, proactive & reliable team member who shows an excellent work ethic as well as a high standard of cross infection. As lead nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the practice.

Working 3 days a week. (08:30 - 17:30)

Duties include:

- Assist the dentist or hygienist during dental procedures
-Support & guide colleagues during their day to day tasks
- Stock control
- Monthly audits
- Updating clinical compliance when needed
-Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties if required
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Record patient information and maintain accurate dental records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain a clean and organized dental environment
- Booking appointments
- Money handling
- Liaising with dentists/hygienists

Desirable skills:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Proficient in using dental software for record keeping and appointment scheduling
- R4 experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients' needs and concerns
