Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during their visits, assisting with various dental procedures, and maintaining an organised and efficient clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment to uphold health and safety regulations. Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments as necessary. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient experiences. Support administrative tasks as required, including managing inventory of dental supplies.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Pay: 12.20-14.26 per hour
