Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering effective treatments. The ideal Dental Nurse will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with the management of appointments. Communicate effectively with patients, providing information about treatments and addressing any concerns they may have. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and scheduling purposes. Ensure the dental practice is clean, organised, and compliant with infection control protocols.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
