Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist with various clinical procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, ensuring confidentiality at all times. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor stock levels of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary to ensure the practice is well-equipped. Stay updated on dental procedures, techniques, and technologies to provide the best support to the dental team.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A valid qualification in dental nursing is required (e.g., NEBDN Diploma). Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
