We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment journey.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their comfort during treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including medical histories and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment. Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups efficiently. Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and appointment management.

Requirements

Qualified /trainee Dental Nurse with relevant certifications. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care and build rapport with patients. Familiarity with IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous. A proactive approach to learning new skills and adapting to changes within the practice.
