We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Qualified Dental Nurse

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong commitment to patient well-being.

The Role

4.5 days a week No weekends Working hours: Monday 8.30am-5pm, Tuesday to Thursday 8.30am-6pm, Friday 8.30am-1pm Overtime paid at additional rate You will use Exact software

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Provide direct patient care, including preparing patients for treatment, taking medical histories, and addressing any concerns they may have. Manage dental records and ensure all patient information is accurately documented in compliance with regulations. Maintain dental equipment and instruments, ensuring they are clean, sterilised, and ready for use. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, post-operative care, and oral hygiene instructions. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and high standards of patient care. Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ordering supplies as needed.

Experience

Qualified Dental Nurse

with recognised dental nursing qualification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanour in a busy environment. A genuine passion for patient care and a desire to contribute positively to their dental experience. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. A positive, team-orientated attitude and a passion for delivering top-quality patient care. Familiarity with dental software or IT systems is an advantage.
