Job Summary

We're looking for a

Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered)

to join our mixed practice in Yarm, Stockton on Tees. You'll be part of a supportive team delivering a wide range of treatments including general, cosmetic, Invisalign and implants. This is a hands-on role where you'll provide excellent chairside support, help patients feel at ease, and keep our surgeries running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of treatments, preparing instruments and materials Maintain cross-infection control and decontamination processes to CQC/HTM 01-05 standards Prepare and turn over surgeries efficiently, ensuring stock is well managed Update and maintain accurate patient records on our practice software (EXACT) Support patients with post-treatment advice and reassurance Provide occasional reception cover to keep patient journeys seamless

Skills & Requirements

GDC-registered Dental Nurse (essential) Calm, confident communicator with a caring approach to patients Organised, reliable and proactive, with excellent attention to detail Team player who follows protocols and takes initiative Certificates in radiography, impression taking, or sedation/implant nursing are an advantage (training support available)
