Job Title: Qualified Dental Nurse

Employment Type: Part Time/Full Time Available, Monday to Friday, with optional

Saturdays

Location: Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire

Hours: 25-38.75 hours per week. We offer late opening hours, so we can be flexible with hours if someone wants to work full time over 4 days.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dental nurse to join our team in a

fast-paced and dynamic dental practice. As a key member of our practice, you will

directly contribute to patient care, assisting our dentists in delivering high-quality

dental services.

Your clinical skills, compassionate nature, and ability to work collaboratively will play

a vital role in ensuring our patients have a comfortable and positive experience. We

are a 6 surgery practice soon to be 8, providing general dental care with visiting

implant dentist, oral and maxillofacial surgeon, in house endodontics under

microscope and a clinical dental technician.

Responsibilities:

? Assist Dentists and Dental Therapists with clinical procedures, ensuring patient

comfort and safety.

? Maintain a clean and organised clinical environment, adhering to health and safety

regulations.

? Maintain a high level of infection control and adhere to practice protocols.

? Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments, adhering to infection

control protocols.

? Assist with patient education and communication, providing clear instructions and

guidance.

? Collaborate effectively with dental staff to ensure seamless workflow and efficient

practice operations.

? Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to the overall management of

patient care.

? Assist with patient recall and appointment scheduling.

? Follow practice protocols to ensure patient safety and comply with health regulations

? Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practice

Requirements:

? Qualified Dental Nurse with a valid GDC registration.

? Knowledge of SOE software is advantageous. However, training will be provided for the right candidate.

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.

? Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team.

? Excellent time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.

Practice Hours:

Our practice is open from:

? Monday: 8am-5:30pm

? Tuesday: 8am-7pm

? Wednesday: 8am-7pm

? Thursday: 8am-6pm

? Friday: 8am-4:30pm

? Saturdays: 9.00 - 1pm (open 2-3 saturdays per month, these are optional)
