We are a small, family run, predominantly private practice on the outskirts of the city. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, be comfortable engaging with people of all ages and be able to fit in with our small team of staff and our base of loyal patients. They should also possess good organisational and time management skills, be able to multi-task and have a willingness to learn new things.
As an inbound referral practice specialising in implants, endodontics, periodontics and TMD cases there should be the opportunity for the candidate to learn new skills. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic while providing high-quality care to our patients.
This position is available as part time or full time, minimum 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organised workflow within the practice.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless patient care and clinic operations.
Stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies through continuous professional development.
Requirements
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or experienced trainee.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour.
Proficient in IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
