Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to dentists and ensure patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment. Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised appropriately Provide patient care before, during, and after treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety Offer clear communication and reassurance to patients, explaining procedures and post-treatment care instructions Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery, adhering to health and safety regulations Support with administrative tasks such as updating patient information and managing stock levels of dental supplies Adhere to infection control protocols at all times, maintaining a sterile environment if trainee, to be on a recognised dental nursing course Have HepB and blood test results

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Basic IT literacy for maintaining electronic health records and scheduling appointments Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
