Completely different to general dentistry (clean, no needles, no blood!!)

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read the advert. Our clinic has expanded due to staff progression and we are looking for another 2 members to join our nursing team. The practice is situated in a lovely suburb, close to the West Highland Way, upstairs from Marks + Spencer's and lots of amenities close by. There are parking facilities.
We are a busy NHS and private practice and have a good nursing team. A desirable candidate would have orthodontic experience but there is no problem if this is not the case as we can provide full training on-site.
Job Summary
Recruiting 2 nurses for our Specialist Orthodontic practice due to expansion
Will consider 4 days per week
NHS/Private practice working with a fun, motivated team
Will rotate between clinics and reception to ensure variety
Will be shown clinical photographs, intra-oral scan and opportunities for progression
Duties
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort.
Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary using IT systems.
Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information regarding treatments and aftercare.
Manage appointment schedules, ensuring efficient use of time and resources within the practice.
Support patients throughout their treatment journey, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
Qualifications
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated commitment to patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
Proficient in IT systems related to dental practice management.
Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred but not essential.
