We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. Dental Nursing Qualification is essential. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing excellent patient care. Duties
Supporting clinicians in surgery
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations efficiently
Answer incoming calls and respond to patient enquiries promptly
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
Provide information to patients regarding treatments and clinic procedures
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
Qualification in Dental Nursing
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
Patient care experience or understanding of healthcare environments is advantageous
Basic IT skills for managing dental practice management software and electronic records
Good interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide exceptional customer service
