Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organised

GDC registered Dental Nurse/ Dental Receptionist (or trainee which we will enroll on an approved dental nursing course)

to join our independent, family run dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice as a whole by carrying out decontamination duties as requires. Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be professional, caring, and committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and cross-infection control. They must be a team player and show initiative.

Assist dentists and hygienists during clinical procedures Prepare and maintain the clinical environment and equipment Ensure effective infection control and sterilisation procedures Record dental charting and patient information accurately Provide patient care and reassurance throughout appointments Carry out reception duties efficiently Manage appointments and answer queries in person, by telephone and by email. Process payments and maintain accurate financial records Ensure the practice general areas remain tidy and welcoming Carry out domestic cleaning duties

Qualifications and requirements

GDC-registered Dental Nurse (or trainee enrolled on a recognised course) Excellent communication and teamwork skills A positive, professional, and caring attitude Knowledge of dental software (e.g. SOE / R4) desirable but not essential
