Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated GDC registered Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental nursing and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist when/ if required. Decontamination and disinfection. Oversee the daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high standard of service. Handle patient inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as dental industry standards (extensive CQC Knowledge). Managing dental recalls and outstanding treatments. Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure seamless patient care and treatment planning. Implement marketing strategies to promote the practice and attract new patients. Liaising effectively with dental laboratories, ensuring the timely delivery of laboratory items Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in a healthcare setting is mandatory as is GDC registration Administrative experience with strong organisational skills is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for interacting with staff and patients alike. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making capabilities.
