We are looking for a part- time dental nurse/receptionist. Charlton Village Dental Practice is a modern mixed NHS/private practice with a wonderful and dedicated team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for our patients. Candidates should be registered with the GDC.

We use Software of Excellence. Knowledge of the software is an advantage.

The practice is located close to local amenities with good transport links.

The position is:

Monday 9-7

Tuesday 9-7

Wednesday 9-5

With a possible view to add more hours.

Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12-15.00 per hour

The Candidate should have:

Dental assisting experience: 1 year at least Be up to date with any relevant training and CPD Confident on reception(ideally with a knowledge of using Software of Excellence) Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with a full range of treatments Maintain high clinical and hygiene standards in line with GDC and CQC regulations Deliver exceptional patient care throughout the treatment journey Contribute to team training, development, and daily operations Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in and check-out processes. Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time. Manage patient records accurately, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy. Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming for patients. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
