Duties
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations using our IT systems
Answer phone calls efficiently, providing clear information and directing enquiries appropriately
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management software
Handle patient queries regarding treatments, billing, and insurance with discretion and professionalism
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
Support the dental team with organisational tasks to ensure seamless daily operations
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times
Experience
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role within healthcare or dental settings is advantageous but not essential
Strong IT skills, including familiarity with practice management software and basic office applications
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to care for patients with empathy and professionalism
