We are seeking a skilled Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice in providing high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities:
You'll prepare and maintain the clinical environment, ensuring everything is in top condition.
You'll follow strict infection control procedures to uphold hygiene standards.
During treatments, you'll provide chairside assistance, supporting clinicians and reassuring patients.
You'll record dental charting and assessments accurately, keeping patient records precise and up to date.
Handling biomaterials and preparing radiography equipment will be part of your daily tasks.
Patients will look to you for guidance, support, and post-treatment advice.
You'll also manage reception duties, including scheduling, calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
Maintaining stock levels and conducting compliance audits will help keep our practice running efficiently.
You'll use Systems For Dentists (SFD) software to keep records organised and accurate.
What You'll Need:
Dental Nursing & Reception Experience: Prior experience as a qualified dental nurse and having covered a dental receptionist role is essential, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
Excellent Communication Skills: Both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
Strong Organisational Abilities: You'll be managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, requiring efficiency and attention to detail.
Proficiency in IT Systems: Familiarity with Office 365 and Systems For Dentists (SFD) software is crucial for maintaining accurate digital records and supporting practice operations.
