Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified dental nurse to join our lovely new Dental Practice in St Albans. We are a small team offering all treatments from general dentistry to Implants, Invisalign and Facial Aesthetics. Having opened 9 months ago we are getting busier and need to increase our team!

We always wow our patients with great customer service and our friendly manner so any applicant must be show these qualities!

Reception experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment Assisting the dentist in the surgery as Dental Nurse Keeping the dental surgery tidy and stocked up Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using practice management software Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and provide clear information to patients Maintain accurate patient records and update personal information as needed Assist with patient care coordination, including reminders for upcoming appointments and follow-up communications Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments and managing correspondence Support the dental team with organisational tasks to ensure smooth daily operations Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care or customer service within a healthcare setting is desirable Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment Basic IT literacy, including familiarity with dental or medical practice management software Knowledge of dental procedures or nursing experience is essential Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to assist patients and colleagues alike
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 19,656.00 per year

Expected hours: 27 per week
